Dr. Dale C. Whilden is the current President of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association. An Ocean Grove dentist for over 30 years, Dr. Whilden is also the founder and President of Christian Dental Missions, a non-profit organization providing dental care to individuals in underdeveloped countries. He’s past President of the New York City Rescue Mission and has served three times as a United Methodist General Conference delegate.

Rev. Dr. Kenda Creasy Dean is an ordained United Methodist Pastor and the Mary D. Synnott Professor of Youth, Church and Culture at Princeton Theological Seminary. A graduate of Miami University (Ohio) and Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, Kenda served as a Pastor and campus minister before earning her doctorate at Princeton Theological Seminary in 1997. Kenda was blessed by incredible youth leaders and camp counselors as a teenager who saw God at work in her long before there was any real evidence that they should, and she’s spent forty years trying to pay that forward. Pastor Levingston was appointed to Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in Houston, TX on September 1, 2008. The church membership has increased from a little more than 600 to over 1700. Over the past 32 years, Pastor Levingston has pastored fruitful congregations in rural, urban, suburban, and multicultural settings. He is passionate about “following Jesus and doing what Jesus did: love, serve, reach, teach and pray.” Pastor Levingston’s life reflects his belief that living a “Higher Way” means submitting one’s self in love and service to others.

In 1996 Peter D. Weaver was elected a Bishop and served the Philadelphia Area (1996-2004) and Boston Area (2004-2012). During this time he served a term as President of the global Council of Bishops of the United Methodist Church and served on many community, church and ecumenical boards. He has been engaged in mission and preaching on five continents and taught in four Seminaries. From 2012-16 Bishop Weaver served in Washington, DC as Executive Secretary of the UM Council of Bishops and now serves as Bishop-in-Residence at Drew University Theological School. His “life verse” is: “If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation!” (II Cor. 5:17)

Christian grew up spending summers at the Jersey shore. He studied Physics and Philosophy at Rutgers University and served one year in mission in Philadelphia after college. Following his year in Philadelphia, Christian became involved in youth ministry and found his way to Princeton Theological Seminary. Immediately after finishing his Masters of Divinity, he began work on his Ph.D. in Homiletics. Christian and a small group of Christian friends had been dreaming of creating an outreach ministry for High School students in Red Bank. For fourteen years, Christian served as the planting Pastor of what became Park Church. In September of 2016, Christian accepted a call to serve as the Lead Pastor of Renaissance Church in Summit, New Jersey.

Dr. Mitch Glaser was born into a nominally Orthodox Jewish home in New York City at a time when views on life, death and religion were beginning to undergo major changes in American society. Almost immediately after becoming a believer, Dr. Glaser became involved with what was then the West Coast branch of Chosen People Ministries. This was the beginning of a forty-year ministry in Jewish evangelism. Since 1997, Dr. Glaser has served as President of Chosen People Ministries, one of the oldest and largest Messianic missions in the United States.

Dr. Michael Youssef is founding Rector of The Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, GA and of Leading the Way, an international radio broadcast reaching over 200 countries. After surrendering his life to the Lord at age 16, he immigrated from Egypt to Australia where he studied at Moore Theological College and was ordained. Coming to America in 1977, he studied at both Fuller Seminary and Emory University where he earned his doctorate. Today the Church of the Apostles has grown from fewer than 40 adults to a vital congregation of over 3000. Dr. Youssef is also a prolific author having written over 35 books.

Dr. Steve DeNeff currently serves as Senior Pastor of College Wesleyan Church in Marion, IN. He is a frequent contributor to Wesleyan periodicals. Steve travels extensively as a speaker at conferences, camps and retreats and is active in the training and development of new ministers. Pastor Steve earned his B.A. and M.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University where he also received an honorary doctorate in 2003. For over 30 years, he has been the lucky husband of Lori and is the father of two adult children.

Bishop John Schol was consecrated a bishop in 2004 after 25 years of experience as a pastor, denominational executive and nonprofit executive director. As a bishop he first served the Baltimore-Washington Conference where he led a turnaround of the conference toward health and vitality. In 2012 he was assigned to lead the United Methodists in Greater New Jersey. During his leadership, A Future With Hope nonprofit corporation was also started to respond to Superstorm Sandy and the United Methodists have repaired more than 150 homes using more than 10,000 volunteers from 37 states who donated 222,000 hours of volunteer service and raised more than $12 million for this five year effort.

Timothy C. Tennent has served as President at Asbury Theological Seminary since July, 2009. Prior to his coming to Asbury Theological Seminary, Dr. Tennent was the Professor of World Missions and Indian Studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he served since 1998. Ordained in the United Methodist Church in 1984, he has pastored churches in Georgia and in several of the largest churches in New England. Since 1989, he has taught annually as an adjunct professor at the New Theological College in Dehra Dun, India. He is a frequent conference speaker around the country and throughout the world.

David William “Duffy” Robbins, Professor of Youth Ministry at Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania,
is a thirty-six year veteran of youth ministry. Dr. Robbins speaks around the world to teenagers and people who care about teenagers. Dr. Robbins has his Doctor of Ministry in Youth and Family Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He’s the author of numerous books including Ministry of Nurture, and This Way to Youth Ministry: An Introduction to the Adventure, to name a few.

Dr. Black is the 62nd Chaplain of the U.S. Senate. Prior to Capitol Hill, Chaplain Black served in the U.S. Navy for over 27 years, ending his distinguished career as the Chief of Navy Chaplains. In addition to opening the Senate each day in prayer, Chaplain Black provides counseling and spiritual care for Senators, their families, and staff (a combined constituency of over 7,000 people). “I see my role as the chaplain to be a confidential counselor, spiritual advisor, scripture teacher, intercessor, and friend to the Senators, their spouses, and the Senate staff as they seek to discover and live God’s wonderful plan.”

Seminary. As an Officer of The Salvation Army (ordained minister) he has led a number of Salvation Army corps churches. He has also had appointments with responsibility for youth, evangelism and growth, recruitment, musical ministries and field operations. Jim is a visionary who continually desires
to intelligently discern what God requires of him and, in Christ’s strength, to enthusiastically follow His plan for him.
