Pastor Bobby Hargraves grew up in Yonkers, NY in a large Catholic family. At the age of 19 he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and started getting involved with local evangelical churches in his area. He entered a 25-year career as a corrections officer at the age of 22 and got married a few years later. Through God ordained circumstances Bobby and his wife Liz moved to Dutchess County in 1987 and started their family of three wonderful daughters.
In 1994 Bobby and Liz hosted a small home-based Bible study that grew into the church Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley. Pastor Bobby and his congregation just celebrated 30 years of God’s amazing faithfulness. The Lord has added two son-in-laws and 5 grandchildren to the mix which are the joy of his heart.
