Beachfront Rejuvenation Plans

Professional landscapers have been diligently working on improvements to the beachfront. Here are some key upgrades that have been completed and are still in progress:

  • Clean up of the south parking lot, with asphalt being removed and replaced by gravel and sand, along with the addition of various plantings.

  • Clearing of overgrown vegetation to ensure full access to all walkways.

  • Planting similar vegetation in areas where the existing plants have been trampled or damaged.

  • Removal of invasive species, specifically Ailanthus altissima (Tree of Heaven), where they are found.

  • Installation of a concrete walkway (not a bike path).

  • A new ADA-compliant water fountain featuring a bottle filler.

  • Installation of new bike racks.

We are thrilled to facilitate these improvements and upgrades to our beachfront, thanks to NJ State Grant Funds, all for the enjoyment of our residents and visitors.
